IQNA – The Cambodia Muslim Friendly Tourism Forum and Fair 2025 will be organized in the Asian country’s capital of Phnom Penh from October 9 to 11.

The Cambodia Muslim Friendly Tourism Forum and Fair 2025 will be organized in the Asian country’s capital of Phnom Penh from October 9 to 11.

 

Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism announced that Cambodia Al-Serkal Mosque (Boeung Kok Mosque) in Phnom Penh will host the event under the theme: “Assalamu Alaikum Cambodia: A Safe, Warm and Friendly Destination.”

The forum aims to establish Cambodia as a friendly and inclusive destination for Muslim tourists, highlighting the country’s diverse tourism options. The Ministry of Tourism states the objectives of the event are:

1. To promote Cambodia as a safe, warm, and friendly tourism destination for visitors of all nationalities.

2. To highlight Cambodia’s tourism potential that aligns with the global Muslim tourism market and Cambodia Muslim-Friendly Standards.

3. To strengthen preparedness in welcoming Muslim tourists in line with international market trends and needs.

The event will gather tourism experts, government officials, Muslim community leaders, business professionals, and private sector representatives to share ideas and experiences aimed at developing Cambodia’s tourism sector sustainably and inclusively.

The Ministry of Tourism will host a Muslim tourism exhibition booth, showcasing a variety of Muslim-friendly services and products. Tour operators, Muslim entrepreneurs, public-private tourism associations, institutions, journalists, and other stakeholders are invited to participate and display their offerings.
